I made it the 2.75 hour drive there without difficulty! Woot woot!!! Had a good night with the hubs, chitlin, a grandma. I just took it slow and enjoyed the time.
Saturday was nice too. The hubs dad and step mom and their girls (labs), came up and we all had dinner together. It was nice to again be able to sit down with family and thoroughly enjoy a meal with no major ramifications!!!
On the drive home I did get pretty nauseous and spent most of the drive with my eyes closed. Wasn't able to sleep. I tried really hard to sleep, but just couldn't. When I got home I lay on the couch and sip some water and have my eyes closed.
Hoping that this nausea will pass!!! But hey, no vomiting so yay!!!!
PS 20 weeks tomorrow!!! I can't believe I have made it this far!! If u asked me at week 13 if I was gonna make it to 20 weeks, I would have told u yes, but would have thought in my head, "there's no way it is going to happen!!"
Yay 20 weeks, and yay for a couple good days in a row! I hope the continue.

8pm "ENOUGH"
I have decided that at 7:59pm every night I should just go asleep and wake up in the morning. EVERY NIGHT at 8pm my body says, "ENOUGH!!" And decides to go into 75% HG mode! Most nights it's gagging, not full dry heaves, but on occasion, the heaves visit. The headache becomes excruciating, the heartburn (my newest ailment) is turned on high, and every sound and smell just hurts.
I know I am soooo close to 20 weeks, and I'm very happy about that. But let's be realistic, I have a little OVER 20 weeks to go! I just want this to be OVER!!
Just how fast could the rest of this pregnancy go if I skipped 8pm-7am of every day?!
Dear Baby, I love u very much! So does your dad and ur big sis too! We will all be VERY excited when u are ready to show up!! (Just as long as it isn't between 8pm and 7am as I am skipping those hours to try and not be sick)

Did you know there is a song called Nausea??
I am NOT a Beck fan at all!!! No offense to those who do like him. as I am laying in bed after work today, the nausea hit me so hard. I am really fighting back with every fiber in my body to not be sick right now. Distraction being my number one tool....although as this post states it is about NAUSEA! I decided to Google songs about Nausea....Hey you never know?! and low and behold.....Nausea by Beck. If only he was singing about a preggers woman with HG....It would be perfect!

Sorry dry heave break....UGH...they are the worst. Slow deep breaths, try to get them to pass. Anyway.....go Beck for having a song titled Nausea.

What?! You wanna Sleep in ur own bed??!
Well, I asked the hubs if he wanted to sleep in bed with me. I know, I know, I'm going to regret it!!! But I got the Pura-fit 6800 ear plugs!!! They might work?! It's worth a try ;) they are definitely made for bigger ears, but so far so good. Only thing is, I can't listen to my relax melodies. It's an even trade if I get to be close to the hubs tonight!! If not well, what a waste!!! Bah ha ha ha!!

Spending time with chitlin'
Today after work today I came home to rest. I was exhausted!!! But had fun chattin with the ladies. It's nice to talk to adults!
When me and the chitlin came home I made microwave popcorn and lemonade. Chitlin turned to me and said, "MOM!! Popcorn....that means we are going to watch a MOVIE!!!"
She was right! I went and got the movie ELF. We snuggled in under the blankets and watched, spending quality time together!! I was so excited ;) I love spending time with her! <3
Granted 1/2 way through she grabbed my iPod and watched Disney Jr, but I didn't care.
I love my little chitlin and I was so happy to have 1 on 1 time with her today. You really don't know JUST how much u miss it, until u get to start doing it again.
Don't forget to spend time with those u love!

Sunday Snowstorm
The chitlin got out on Sunday with the hubs and played in the snow!! She had a blast making tracks and building a "fort." Her and Dad made a snowman too, but I didn't get a pix of it. Maybe I can get it later.

Heartburn is like...like...my insides are on fire!!!
Due to my increased root beer downage, I have now got heartburn. Just add it to the list of crap wrong with me. Also add Zantac to my arsenal of meds.
I don't think I have ever had heartburn before. Maybe with my first pregnancy, but it wasn't like this. I seriously felt like there was a FIRE in my gut and it was creepin' up! Omg!
I had to get to Walgreens ASAP! I had no idea how many types of heartburn meds there were!!! All I knew was I needed something NOW. I ended up with the Walgreens brand of Zantac. I didn't even make it out to the truck before I was diggin in the bag and rippin the box open!! Got in the truck and took one right away! It took about 45 mins-1hour but the heartburn was GONE! Whew!! Thank goodness!
On a positive note, I have been able to drink more, yes including root beer! Lol but also Bolthouse Farms vanilla protein drinks, lemonade (hot of course), hot cocoa, some juice, and some water. Looking at this list it is pretty impressive of what I can keep down from time to time :)
But I also can see all the acidic things that are causing me heartburn! Lord knows it isn't the instant potatoes The hubby is making!!!
Hitting the hay early tonight chitlin is spending the night at Grammy and Bapa's. That means hubs gets to sleep in a bed! Lol Chitlin's of course ;) I gotta be at work early tmrw...wish me luck! ;)
